How to create an amazing glowing text effect in photoshop

This tutorial is going to teach you some helpful tricks for your text effects in photoshop.I am using CS6 but it will probably work with any other version.

FAQ:
Q-The Gradient tool fills the whole screen and not just the text ?
A-Ctrl and click on the text's thumbnail not on the whole layer.
Q-When I click on filter/render/clouds I only get my whole picture filled with some color ?
A-Just press D on the keyboard to reset your primary colors before applying the filter.
Q-My stars appear black/don't glow ?
A-Just paint with white on the clouds layer
